Fulfilled a role as an interim category controller for £80m category whilst completing a full category review encompassing retail strategy, national range harmonisation and regional range reviews.

Meat processor/retailer - UK

 
Commercial role to manage the breaded chicken range, resolve supply and quality issues and to review NPD costing/Procurement process. We resolved the demand management issues with the importer and developed a rollout programme to increase market share from 23% to 50%.

Acted as category consultants to identify trade opportunities for a UK based supplier of Fresh and Easy stores. We completed a trade and merchandising review reporting on development opportunities.

Major drinks manufacturer - UK

 
Working within trade marketing we managed the promotional layouts and analysis with 2 major retailers and pos compliance with an assigned field marketing firm. Compliance improved 15% within promotions improving POS investments.

FMCG/ Retailer - Spain

 
Category review of major fmcg product range within a European retailer. The review included new layouts for over 400 stores, increased trading space 7% resulting in a 20% range increase in over 200 stores.

Chilled ready meals manufacture/retailer - UK

 
Range review and design new cluster layout for ready meals category to help improve planogram attainment and branch waste. Successfully implemented with range density improving by an avg of 10%.

Major S&OP project management of a new 10m factory build, consolidating 2 major brands from multiple manufacturers within Europe.
